Autumn Camp: Oct 16-20
Codeverse Lincoln Park
Our camp starts day one with an introductory lesson to coding. Each and every student will use one of our iPads to learn the basics of coding and app creation! If your child already has coding experience, (s)he can try a more complex coding project! All students will learn how to use our innovative coding language, KidScript, which was made with young learners in mind. It’s easy to read and easy to write- no experience necessary!
Day two focuses on 3D creation! We will explore design and engineering principles using CAD, 3D modeling, laser cutting, and more! Each student gets hands-on experience with our software and machines. Every child will end the week with several creations of their own design!
Day three is focused on robots. Kids will practice coding and programming with KidScript by interacting with our studio’s robot arms, drones, and Sphero’s. All of the gadgets in our studio can be programmed with KidScipt, so there’s much for your child to explore individually or in groups!
Day four is an exploratory day filled with stadium quality lights, lasers, and sound machines. Using KidScript, campers will explore various stations to practice programming our various gadgets. We also have an exclusive partnership with a nearby Apple store, so we will go on a field trip to play with even more professional tools and software!
At the end of the week, all kids have the option to explore a project of their own creation. Don’t worry, if (s)he can’t decide, we have a few ideas of our own to suggest! This is a great opportunity to explore all of the gadgets from the previous days and create something meaningful to share with friends when school starts!
Camps are the perfect way to get the full Codeverse experience from our advanced coding platform to our fully immersive studio. Campers are sure to have a fun-filled educational week. They will experience firsthand how technology provides endless possibilities for fun and creativity!
There are no prerequisites for our camps, but each camper will develop a strong foundation in coding and gain valuable exposure to cutting-edge technology.
